Filming the incendiary Bad Breeding

The venue was already jam-packed, halfway up the stairs. I desperately needed to descend and it didn't look hopeful. I worked my way forward to get a good spot at the foot of the stage and I was immediately swallowed up by Bad Breeding delivering the message of the disenfranchised through the speed and depth of Chris Dodd's voice.

There were cameras all around and everyone wanted a piece of the band. I could feel the crowd closing in and my space reducing. Some fans got close to the mic and sang the slogan alongside. The audience pulsed with energy and some moshing broke out. Great to watch in the footage but quite scary to film from within. We were all connected in a cathartic experience, something I haven't experienced in a while.
