As Christmas week can be a bit of a quiet one for gigs, here’s a two-week look at the shows taking us to NYE. Five bands for five pounds at Windmill Brixton on Saturday 21st, with Meatraffle, Sex Cells, Sleaze, Pink Eye Club and Misty Miller & Hank Dog.

Springfield Elementary join Violet Disguise at The Lantern in Halifax on Thursday 19t.

There’s a Christmas Eve sesh at the Polar Bear in Hull with Lumer, bdrmm and Autosuggestion.

After a temporary reprieve last year, the Flapper in Birmingham will be shutting down in early 2020. Say goodbye in style to the venue with a free show on Saturday 28th featuring Templeton Pek, Dearist, Brookehorse and more.
