This week's gigs, with Fat Earthers, The Howlers and more

I’m a big fan of cassettes – I’m old enough for them to have a been a significant part of my musical education – so let’s give some love to tape on International Cassette Store Day 2019. The Shacklewell Arms is hosting a fun free day of music with, amongst others, Fat Earthers, Dumb, Psycho Comedy and Yammerer.

Also at the Shack, Dancehall have a show this Tuesday with supportfrom Brunch and Maripool.

Two chances to see Ditz this week. They’re in Brighton with John and Frauds on Saturday (very limited ticket availability) and join bdrmm and Van Houten at the New Adelphi Club on Friday.

Free entry (donations welcome) at The Pipeline on Thursday for music from Dog of Man, The International Debt, GURF and Ensemble 1. The music will be better than the band names.

The Murder Capital are busy with tour things this month, starting with shows in Bristol, Nottingham, London, Brighton and Birmingham.

Tickets are sold out but keep an eye on returns for GHUM at the Waiting Room on Thursday. Support from Hussy.

The Howlers are starting to make some waves. Catch them before they’re stolen by the mainstream at Jimmy’s in Liverpool on Saturday. Support from Factory.
