Why are we thinking of fashion advertising gone bad?

We don't know if it is intentional or not, but the video of 'VS.' by Eddie Cohn, melting fashion-style clips into deserted urban streets, seems like a critique of beauty stereotypes and their vacuity.

Maybe we are imagining it, who knows, but that would give even more kudos to his latest cryptic work. We don't like to describe music as you know, but in this case, it's crucial to mention how the music fits the video, rather than vice versa. It all feels disposable, seductive and disturbing at the same time.

When you listen and watch other songs by Eddie, you realise he is someone else, a chilled songwriter. But with his post-internet commentary, we think he is onto something much more captivating. Hopefully, he will explore this further.
