Start 2020 right with Hotgothic, Dog of Man and bdrmm

Roadkill Records are getting 2020 off to an epic start at the Shacklewell Arms on Friday. Free entry will get you sets from After London, Hotgothic, Enemy of the People and The Dead Zoo.

Tuesdays in January look like they’re going to belong to The Old Blue Last. Another free show, the ‘Hello 2020’ series starts with Heavy Lungs, Treeboy & Arc and Roxy Girls.

Get over to the Victoria on Saturday for a headline set from bdrmm, with support from CIEL. Tickets are free but pick them up ahead of time on DICE.

Alternatively, take yourself to the Prince Albert in Brighton on Saturday for music from Dog of Man, Broker, Gurf and Complete Snake.

Or, if you find yourself in a more northerly direction, Saturday also sees a big night of punk in Manchester, with Tinfoils, Feral Family, Chupa Cabra and more.

After a huge 2019, Fontaines D.C. head to Newcastle and Nottinghamthis week. Tickets are running low so make your move fast.

A bit random, this, but I’m on board with it. Roasts ‘n’ Records is a new Sunday feature at Dead Wax Digbeth in Birmingham where you can get an (and I quote) “insane” roast dinner while their in house DJ spins tunes for you. Beats your mum’s dry chicken and string beans, am I right?
